Mag Art Collages - Creative Exploration
Mixed Media & Visual Composition
An exploration of image-making through the art of deconstruction and reassembly, these collages transform pages from magazines into entirely new visual compositions. By cutting, layering, and juxtaposing photography, patterns, textures, and typography, familiar images take on new meaning, creating unexpected relationships between elements that were never originally intended to exist together.
About the Process
Rather than following a predetermined layout or concept, each collage came together intuitively, guided by what felt right in the moment. I experimented with scale, color, contrast, and composition, allowing the images to find their place organically. There is something deeply cathartic about taking apart the pages of a magazine and discovering how individual fragments can be reimagined into something entirely new.
The process is as much about exploration as it is about the finished piece. Each composition becomes an opportunity to play, follow creative instincts, and uncover beauty in unexpected combinations. What begins as a collection of disconnected images evolves into a unique work of art, shaped by curiosity, intuition, and the freedom to experiment.
Dream. Trust. Believe. - Digital Collage Series
Digital Art & Visual Composition
Dream. Trust. Believe. is a series of digital collages inspired by the places, people, and experiences that spark my imagination. Drawing from a personal love of New York City’s streets, the ocean, dance, and the iconic imagery of Kate Moss, each composition brings together photography, typography, and layered visuals to express a sense of possibility, movement, and self-discovery.
Built around three inspirational words, the series explores the relationship between imagery and language, using visual juxtaposition to transform personal sources of inspiration into expressive, editorial-style artwork. Each piece stands on its own while contributing to a larger narrative about trusting the creative process, embracing what inspires us, and remaining open to what is possible.
About Design
The compositions combine striking imagery with oversized typography, layered elements, and carefully considered color palettes to create a balance between visual impact and emotional expression. Each word serves as both a message and a design element, interacting with the imagery to establish movement, depth, and a distinct visual identity.
Created digitally, the collages allowed for greater control over layering, scale, and composition while preserving the experimental spirit of analog collage. The three pieces can be displayed individually or together as a triptych, where the words form a collective statement of encouragement: dream beyond what you know, trust in the journey, and believe in what is possible.

Faith, Music, Beauty, Film
This collection brings together a variety of collages I created for projects spanning beauty, music, faith, and editorial storytelling. Each piece started with a different idea, from a fragrance brand and an independent musician to a church presentation and a blog article about Soleil Moon Frye’s documentary.
What connects them all is my love of mixing different images, typography, textures, and unexpected elements to create something unique. I enjoy finding interesting ways to bring things together that might not normally live in the same space, creating compositions that feel visually engaging while inviting the viewer to look a little closer.
About the Process
For me, collage is all about experimentation and discovery. I love having a collection of different elements to play with, moving things around, trying unexpected combinations, and seeing where the process takes me. Sometimes a small detail brings everything together, and other times the most interesting result comes from putting two completely different things side by side.
I tend to follow my instincts, paying attention to color, composition, and the little connections that start to emerge. The goal isn't just to make something visually interesting, but to create a piece that has a little depth to it, something that makes you pause, look again, and maybe see something you didn't notice the first time.
The best part is not always knowing exactly what the finished piece will look like when I start. It's the freedom to experiment, follow my curiosity, and watch something unexpected take shape.
